On the afternoon of 11th August, the Choi Centre Cloud House was filled with distinguished guests and immersed in an artistic ambience. Hosted by the Choi Koon‑Shum Charitable Foundation, the opening ceremony of Ode to Colors, a joint exhibition featuring three Hong‑Kong‑based artists, was grandly held at the venue. Three distinctive Hong‑Kong artists — Terence Lee, Joe Wong and Dr. Diana Chan — gathered to embark on a cross‑regional artistic journey through the language of colours.

The opening commenced with welcome remarks delivered by Ms. Janice Choi, representative of the Choi Koon‑Shum Charitable Foundation. She reflected on the Foundation’s decades‑long journey dating back to the 1970s, spanning support for basic education through to the promotion of science, technology, culture and the arts. As the philanthropic arm of Sunwah Group, the Foundation carries out extensive work across mainland China, and has extended its reach to Vietnam, Japan, France, the United Kingdom and Canada. Through partnerships with leading local universities and institutions, it builds bridges for international exchanges in culture, education and technology.

The three featured artists bring markedly different yet equally compelling practices. During the ceremony, Dr. Diana Chan, Terence Lee and Joe Wong each took the floor to share insights into their creative processes.
