In July, Ms. Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, former Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, paid a visit to The Choi Centre Cloud House. During her visit, Ms. Lam gained in-depth insights into the Centre’s cultural exchange programmes and toured W.B. Yeats Lapis Lazuli, a contemporary art exhibition specially curated to mark the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Ireland.

Ms. Lam highly praised Jonathan Choi, Chairman of Jonathan KS Choi Foundation, for his remarkable contributions to innovative education and people-to-people diplomacy. She pointed out the significance and role of people-to-people diplomacy will grow increasingly prominent amid the current geopolitical landscape. She expressed that upon her return to Hong Kong, she would formally introduce The Choi Centre Cloud House to the cultural authorities of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and propose collaborative initiatives with the institution.

Through this visit, we're looking forward to dive in for deeper cultural exchanges and cooperation with Hong Kong in future, as well as promote the cultural development and prosperity.
