  • Autumn's Fairytale

    July 13th, 2026

As brushes glided across paper and hues flowed freely amid imagination, soon a fairytale of autumn unfolds gently at children’s fingertips. On 19th November 2022, The Choi Centre Cloud House welcomed a group of artists: G3 and G4 students from HDBAG (HD Beijing Artists Group) at HD Beijing School. With their original artworks, the young artists represented their school to join the International Integrated Art Exhibition Autumn's Fairytale hosted by The Choi Centre for Cultural Exchange, presenting the colourful and pure innocence they perceive to the world.

Art was far more than a classroom subject; it served as a window for children to express themselves and explore the world. Though all under the age of ten on average, they demonstrated sharp aesthetic sensibilities and remarkable passion for creation.

These children perfected their painting techniques throughout the creative process, while shaping their unique personalities through self-expression. Their artworks were sincere reflections of their inner worlds and testaments to their uninhibited, freely blossoming imagination.

Numerous visitors paused before the paintings, gazing intently or exchanging quiet remarks. What touched audiences most deeply was that these young artists volunteered to act as guides, confidently and calmly sharing their creative inspirations and painting journeys with guests. They explained why they drew certain lines, how they picked each shade, and how every vivid composition grew from a blank sheet of paper.

Beyond painting techniques, these works revealed their infinite creativity, ageless imagination, and the poise and confidence with which these children engage within the world.

Autumn's Fairytale marked the first collaboration between The Choi Centre Cloud House and HD Beijing School. We believed every child’s painting was a seed sown into the ground. Hence, The Choi Centre would continue to reserve space for young creators, allowing art to take root in childhood and empowering children with the courage to voice their hearts.
